  • The team sponsor kicks off the session with a discussion of the desired future of the team and the critical deliverables.
  • Team members learn about the strengths and weaknesses of working together as a team and how to leverage the strengths and mitigate the weaknesses.
  • Members learn more about their working styles and how to deal with the styles of other members.
  • Members discuss and agree on the team's purpose, deliverables and organization design.
  • Members create team norms and make a commitment to live up to them.
  • Members learn how to deal with conflict in an effective team environment.
